Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be tasked with analyzing and enhancing security measures, responding to incidents, and educating staff about cybersecurity best practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Monitor security incidents and respond to threats in real-time.
• Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Provide regular reports on security incidents and analysis.
• Perform risk assessments to identify potential threats and weaknesses.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configurations and patches.
• Educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and awareness.
• Participate in incident response and remediation efforts.
• Stay updated on the latest security trends and incidents.
• Assist in compliance with regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role
