Job Description

As an Accountant at our Port Elizabeth office, you will handle budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning. We are looking for a proactive individual who can support our clients in achieving their financial goals through effective accounting practices.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze financial data to assist clients in achieving their financial goals.
• Implement and improve accounting systems and controls.
• Provide timely, relevant financial advice to management.
• Handle any customer queries regarding financial matters.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• ACCA or similar qualification is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting.

Technical Skills

• Accounting Software (e.g., Pastel, QuickBooks)
• Financial Reporting

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Communication

Certifications

• CIMA Certification
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in tax consulting: Knowledge in handling various tax compliance issues would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with international accounting standards: Experience in working with IFRS principles.
