We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our support team in Pietermaritzburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving various IT issues, ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure. This role requires a mix of technical skills and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Identify recurring issues and recommend solutions to enhance productivity.
• Train users on effective technology use and best practices.
• Provide remote support for staff working off-site.
• Work collaboratively with external vendors on larger IT projects.
• Keep abreast of the latest IT developments and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and security measures.
• Assist in maintaining the privacy and integrity of company data.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology or related field
• CompTIA A+ certification preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in IT support or related field
