Quality Assurance Tester

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Quality Assurance Tester to join our team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of quality. You will develop and execute test plans, identify bugs, and collaborate with development teams to deliver exceptional software.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Detect, report, and track software defects.
• Work closely with engineering teams to improve processes.
• Automate test cases where applicable.
• Review requirements and specifications to provide timely feedback.
• Assist in the development of testing tools and metrics.
• Ensure high standards of quality in software releases.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in QA/testing roles

Technical Skills

• Selenium
• API Testing

Soft Skills

• Documentation Skills
• Team Collaboration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with performance testing tools: Experience with tools like JMeter for performance analysis.
• Experience with TestRail or similar tools: Hands-on experience in test management platforms.
