Tax Specialist

Job Description

As a Tax Specialist, you will manage tax compliance and advisory services for our clients in Pretoria. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring adherence to tax laws, and maximizing clients’ tax efficiencies. Your ability to analyze tax legislation and its implications will be essential in providing proactive advice to clients. Experience in corporate tax will be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop tax strategies that align with clients’ business goals.
• Review corporate tax structures and make recommendations.
• Prepare and advise on tax compliance documentation and practices.
• Keep abreast of international tax matters affecting local entities.
• Work with audit teams to ensure seamless compliance efforts.
• Conduct workshops/training on tax subjects for clients.
• Meet with clients regularly to discuss their tax needs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a similar field
• Professional qualification in Taxation is an asset

Experience

• 5+ years in tax advisory roles

Certifications
