Job Description

Take on the role of a Physiotherapist in our dynamic team! Your role will include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and engaging with a variety of patients to improve their mobility and quality of life through evidence-based therapies.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients for physical therapies and design recovery plans.
• Use a variety of techniques to treat injuries or impairments.
• Track patient outcomes and modify treatments if required.
• Provide education and support to patients on using adaptive equipment.
• Work with families to facilitate therapy goals.
• Participate in health outreach initiatives within the community.
• Ensure adherence to clinic policies and the highest healthcare standards.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
• Additional certifications in sports physiotherapy are a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of clinical experience in physiotherapy

Technical Skills

• Sports Rehabilitation
• Kinesiology

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Patient Management

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Sports Physiotherapy Certification (if applicable)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

• Experience with geriatric patients: Ability to adapt strategies for older patients for effective rehabilitation.
• Background in sports science: Knowledge of exercise science and training for optimal patient outcomes.
