Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Hand Endband Cutter to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and trimming book covers, ensuring quality and precision in every piece you handle.

Responsibilities

• Perform measurements and adjustments to ensure optimal cutting accuracy.
• Utilize hand-held and mechanical cutting tools skillfully.
• Check for quality control measures on completed cuts.
• Assist with inventory management of materials used in the cutting process.
• Keep abreast of new techniques and tools for improving efficiency.
• Participate in training and development sessions as required.
• Contribute to team meetings with insights to improve workflow.
• Support new hires in understanding safe and effective cutting practices.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year experience in bookbinding or print production.

Technical Skills

• Manual dexterity
