We are seeking a passionate Pet Groomer to join our team in Durban. In this role, you will be responsible for grooming pets, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for both pets and their owners.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality grooming services tailored to individual pet needs.
• Build rapport with clients to understand their grooming preferences.
• Conduct thorough pre-grooming assessments for all pets.
• Maintain a stress-free environment for pets during grooming.
• Educate clients about pet grooming and care best practices.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery.
• Follow all safety and sanitation protocols diligently.
• Participate in promotions and events to attract new clients.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Pet Grooming is an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in pet grooming

Technical Skills

• Grooming Techniques
• Pet Handling

Soft Skills

• Customer Service
• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience with special needs pets: Experience handling pets with special requirements or medical conditions.
• Management experience: Experience supervising other groomers is a plus.
