Responsibilities

  • Lead consultations with clients to assess their pets' health needs.
  • Perform diagnostic tests such as bloodwork and imaging.
  • Execute surgical procedures, ensuring the highest level of care.
  • Facilitate the rehabilitation of injured animals.
  • Provide aftercare and follow-up checks for surgical cases.
  • Train staff on emerging veterinary techniques and services.
  • Promote preventative health measures among pet owners.
  • Track and manage inventory of medical supplies.
  • Handle emergency cases and provide critical care to animals.
  • Participate in scheduled team meetings and case reviews.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent
  • Specialisation in surgery is advantageous
Experience
  • 2-4 years of clinical experience in a veterinary setting
