Job Description

The Belt Builder will be responsible for designing, constructing, and repairing various types of belts using a variety of materials, tools, and techniques. Candidates must demonstrate creativity and a keen attention to detail while working with industrial machinery.

Responsibilities

• Work with the production team to assemble fabricated belts.
• Use hand and power tools to cut, splice, and join belts.
• Inspect and test the final products for quality assurance.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Respond quickly to any issues in the production process.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Report maintenance issues to the management team.
• Collaborate with the design team to develop new belt designs.
• Enhance assembly techniques to improve efficiency.
• Document production processes for quality control.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate
• Technical qualification in a related field is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years in a manufacturing or construction environment

Languages

• English: Fluent
