Product Assembler

Job Description

A Product Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing various products according to specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to function in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand and execute assembly instructions from technical documents.
• Follow quality control procedures during assembly.
• Inspect products post-assembly for quality assurance.
• Employ hand and power tools for precision assembly.
• Ensure work area compliance with cleanliness standards.
• Communicate any product issues to the supervisor promptly.
• Follow all safety guidelines and workplace rules.
• Aim to meet and exceed production quotas.
• Engage with team for process improvement ideas.
• Participate in inventory control and audits.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Technical diploma or certification is advantageous

Experience

• No previous experience necessary. Training will be provided.
