Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Public Health Officer to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will contribute to community health initiatives, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and play a crucial part in improving public health standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute health awareness campaigns.
• Conduct regular health inspections and surveys.
• Collect and analyze health-related data for reporting.
• Create educational materials for community engagement.
• Facilitate discussions on health issues within the community.
• Assist in developing health policies in collaboration with local authorities.
• Serve as a liaison between the community and health stakeholders.
• Monitor the effectiveness of public health policies and initiatives.
• Support the training and education of public health personnel.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant health field
• Master's degree in Public Health or related field is an asset

• 3+ years of experience in community health initiatives
