We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cloth Sponger to join our dynamic team. As a Cloth Sponger, you will be responsible for cleaning, sponging, and maintaining the quality of various types of cloth materials. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of different fabric types, and the ability to work efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality checks on cloth materials post-sponging.
• Utilize various sponging tools and machinery effectively.
• Document and report any fabric-related issues encountered.
• Assist in training new employees on sponging techniques.
• Implement suggestions for process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss production goals.
• Support inventory management of cloth supplies.
• Identify areas for skill development within the team.
• Contribute to maintaining a positive team environment.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Prior experience in a textile manufacturing environment is beneficial

Experience

• Experience in quality control processes is an asset.
