Job Description

We are on the lookout for an IT Support Technician to join our East London team. Your role will involve providing technical support and troubleshooting various hardware and software issues for our clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and relevant software applications. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our IT infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Help maintain network security protocols.
• Participate in IT projects as required.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
• Assist in inventory management of IT equipment.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in IT or related field
• Further certifications in IT support preferred

Experience

• 2+ years in a technical support environment

Technical Skills

• Linux OS
• Hardware Troubleshooting

Certifications

• ITIL Foundation

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Previous experience in a customer service role: Experience in providing excellent customer support within an IT context.
• Certifications related to Microsoft technologies: Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Fundamentals or similar are a plus.
