We are seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of process optimization and be capable of implementing effective engineering solutions. You will work closely with manufacturing teams to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve product quality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of existing processes to identify inefficiencies.
• Design solutions to enhance equipment and product reliability.
• Facilitate workshops with teams to brainstorm process improvements.
• Implement lean manufacturing techniques to increase output.
• Analyze market trends to align engineering practices with industry standards.
• Develop maintenance schedules and procedures for machinery.
• Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts for materials.
• Report on project outcomes and suggest further refinements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in industrial process improvement
