We are seeking a passionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Mental Health Solutions in Stellenbosch. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic support to individuals facing mental health challenges, contributing to their overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose psychological disorders in clients.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families.
• Develop and lead support groups for specific mental health issues.
• Collaborate with external agencies to provide holistic care.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology
• Additional qualifications in relevant therapeutic approaches preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of diverse clinical practice experience

Certifications

• Advanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Certification
• Trauma-Informed Care Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

• Familiarity with EMDR: Experience in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy techniques.
