Responsibilities

• Support instructional activities within the classroom.
• Cheerfully engage with students to promote interest in learning.
• Ensure classroom materials and resources are organized and accessible.
• Help teachers with grading and assessment preparation.
• Monitor student behavior and provide feedback as needed.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings when required.
• Contribute to a safe and productive educational setting.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Education or Child Development

Experience

• Experience working with children in a formal or informal educational capacity is advantageous.

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in tutoring or mentorship: Background in providing academic support and guidance to students.
• Knowledge of South African educational policies: Familiarity with educational practices and policies in South Africa.
