Job Description

The Planner will play a vital role in developing and implementing project plans, ensuring that all necessary resources are allocated effectively. They will monitor progress diligently to guarantee the successful delivery of projects, working closely with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

  • Create and refine lenses based on prescriptions provided by optometrists.
  • Test and assess lenses for quality before delivery to patients.
  • Maintain accurate records of lab activities and lens prescriptions.
  • Assist with inventory management of optical supplies and materials.
  • Support ongoing training and development initiatives within the laboratory.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric certificate or equivalent
  • Relevant diploma or certification in Optometry or Laboratory Technology preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years in an optical or healthcare laboratory setting
