Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Weaver who can expertly weave various textiles using multiple techniques and equipment. The ideal candidate should demonstrate proficiency in maintaining quality standards throughout the weaving process.

Responsibilities

• Operate weaving machines to produce textiles according to specifications.
• Perform regular maintenance on weaving equipment.
• Inspect woven products for quality assurance and report defects.
• Assist in designing new fabrics and textiles based on trends.
• Work effectively with other team members to meet production targets.
• Ensure compliance with all workplace safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Degree in Textile Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 3 years of experience with various weaving techniques

Technical Skills

• Weaving techniques
• CAD software

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Time management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with eco-friendly materials: Experience with weaving sustainable and eco-friendly textiles.
