Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will analyse large datasets, develop predictive models, and apply statistical techniques to support our business objectives. The ideal candidate is passionate about using data to tell stories and drive decisions, with expertise in machine learning and statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, correlations, and insights.
• Create visual representations of data using toolsets such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Develop and test algorithms for predictive analytics.
• Work with team members to deploy data-driven solutions in business processes.
• Continuously refine data collection and analysis processes for optimization.
• Communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
• Master's degree in Analytics or a related discipline is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in data science projects
