Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Auditor to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. As an Auditor, you will be responsible for evaluating financial operations and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role demands precision and analytical skills to provide insights into our clients' financial standings.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit projects from planning to execution.
• Assess financial systems and controls for effectiveness.
• Recommend enhancements based on audit findings.
• Coordinate with external auditors as required.
• Draft and finalize audit reports for management review.
• Mentor junior auditors in best practices and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master's degree in a related field preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of auditing experience preferred

Technical Skills

• GAAP Knowledge
• Tax Compliance

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Teamwork

Certifications

• ACCA or CIMA certification is advantageous

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Advanced Excel Skills: Proficient in using Excel for complex financial analysis.
• Familiarity with ERP systems: Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
