Join our team in Durban as a Tax Specialist where you will manage tax compliance and planning for our esteemed clients. You will utilize your expertise in taxation to assist in minimizing tax liability while ensuring compliance with all regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively to achieve strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax research to ensure compliance and implement best practices.
• Provide technical tax advice and assistance in commercial negotiations.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss tax matters.
• Manage relationships with external tax agencies and advisors.
• Ensure timely submissions of all tax filings and related documentation.
• Develop and maintain tax-related databases and calendar systems.
• Prepare and present tax-related workshops for clients and staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Advanced tax qualifications are preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of practical experience in tax consulting

Certifications

• Registered Tax Practitioner (RTP)
• ACC (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)
