Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Neurodiagnostic Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting sleep studies and interpreting data to assist physicians in diagnosing sleep disorders. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct sleep studies, including polysomnography and multiple sleep latency tests.
  • Adjust equipment settings as needed during studies to optimize data collection.
  • Provide detailed documentation of sleep study results and recommendations.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment approaches.
  • Assist in training new staff on procedures and protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the sleep lab.
  • Maintain and calibrate sleep study equipment regularly.

Requirements

Education
  • Polysomnographic Technologist certification
  • Bachelor's degree in sleep medicine or related field preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with pediatric sleep studies is advantageous.
Technical Skills
  • Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) knowledge
