Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Lab Chemist to join our Pretoria team, focusing on chemical analysis and product development. The right candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of laboratory practices and protocols, while being able to contribute to innovative solutions in the chemical engineering field.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine tests on raw materials and finished products to ensure quality.
• Collect and analyze data to support research initiatives.
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement new processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for management.
• Ensure the correct disposal of hazardous materials and compliance with environmental regulations.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in chemical engineering.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
• Additional professional certifications are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
