Job Description

We are searching for an enthusiastic Pharmacist in Cape Town to join our dynamic pharmacy team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on medications, managing prescriptions, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals. Ideal candidates will have a commitment to patient care and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service while managing pharmacy operations.
  • Provide counseling to patients regarding their medications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient health outcomes.
  • Conduct training sessions for pharmacy assistants and interns.
  • Monitor and report any adverse drug reactions or side effects.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development.
  • Assist in implementing pharmacy policies and protocols.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Additional certifications in Clinical Pharmacy preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting
