Job Description

We are seeking a proactive IT Support Technician to join our vibrant team in Johannesburg. This role involves providing technical support to our staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT services. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a foundational knowledge of computer systems and networks.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for IT-related queries.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues with hardware, software, and networks.
• Assist in setting up new IT projects and deployments.
• Maintain inventory of IT assets.
• Prepare and manage user accounts in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure adherence to IT security measures and protocols.
• Participate in IT upgrade projects and initiatives.
• Document problem resolutions and escalate unresolved issues as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• BSc in Computer Science or a related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in IT support or help desk roles
