We are seeking a motivated Research Scientist with a strong background in scientific writing to join our Johannesburg team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, conducting, and disseminating research findings, while contributing to the publication of scholarly articles.

Responsibilities

• Lead scientific writing projects and mentor junior researchers.
• Analyze literature to identify trends and gaps in current research.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective project execution.
• Provide feedback and editorial support on research documents.
• Contribute to the development of educational materials from research outputs.
• Assess and incorporate feedback from peer reviews to enhance publication quality.

Requirements

Education

• PhD in relevant scientific discipline
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in scientific writing and research
