Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to work in our Pretoria location. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical knowledge and be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, dispensing medications, and providing consultation on medication therapy. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of pharmaceutical care.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice regarding medications and health products.
• Evaluate patient health outcomes and adjust therapy as needed.
• Maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards of practice.
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of patient information.
• Develop and implement patient education initiatives.
• Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives.
• Foster positive relationships with patients and healthcare providers.
• Manage the pharmacy's operational functions and workflow.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications in Clinical Pharmacy preferred

Experience

• Experience in a hospital pharmacy setting is advantageous
