We are on the lookout for a dynamic Investment Banker to join our dedicated team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in finance, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven track record of managing client relationships effectively. You will be responsible for advising clients on investments, mergers, and acquisitions, and providing comprehensive financial analyses to inform strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead investment analysis and financial modeling efforts for various transactions.
• Ensure timely reporting to clients regarding their investments and financial outcomes.
• Mentor junior analysts and team members to foster a collaborative working environment.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies during transaction processes.
• Maintain robust documentation of all transactions and client interactions.
• Participate in strategy meetings to align on corporate goals and client objectives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Economics
• Master's degree in Finance or related field is advantageous

Experience

• 5-7 years of investment banking experience

Certifications

• CFA Level 1 or 2
• Certificate in Investment Banking
