Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Sawing Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in operating and maintaining sawing machinery, ensuring high-quality wood products are produced efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust sawing machines for different wood projects.
• Ensure that the machinery is functioning correctly and address any issues.
• Inspect finished products for quality and workmanship.
• Hazard management and ensuring safe operations on-site.
• Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency.
• Contribute to a culture of safety and quality within the workplace.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
• Technical qualification in woodworking or engineering is advantageous

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience operating industrial saws and woodworking machinery.

Technical Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience operating a ripsaw specifically: Hands-on experience with ripsaw machinery is advantageous.
