Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Physiotherapist to enhance our Allied Health Services. You will be responsible for evaluating patients and determining the most effective treatment plans. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals is key to delivering comprehensive care that meets the diverse needs of our clients in Port Elizabeth.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients' physical needs objectively.
• Create and manage individualized therapy programs based on evidence-based practice.
• Engage patients in rehabilitation exercises to restore function.
• Keep detailed records of patient interactions and progress.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to formulate comprehensive care plans.
• Provide education and resources to patients and families on health and wellness topics.
• Continuously assess and adapt therapeutic interventions to meet evolving patient needs.
• Participate in professional development and training initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Physiotherapy
• Postgraduate qualification is beneficial

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical setting

Certifications

• Registered Physiotherapist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa
