The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert tax advice to clients, ensuring compliance with local tax legislation, and offering innovative solutions to minimize tax liabilities. Responsibilities

• Assess clients' financial situations and offer tailored tax solutions.
• Review tax documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate clients on tax matters.
• Prepare comprehensive tax reports and summaries for clients.
• Monitor tax payments and deadlines to ensure timely compliance.
• Assist in the development of internal tax policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Taxation or Accounting
• Master's degree in Business or Taxation is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in tax consulting or relevant financial service

Technical Skills

• Tax Strategy Development
• Use of Tax Software

Soft Skills

• Client Relationship Management
• Analytical Thinking

Certifications

• Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA)
• Tax Practitioner Registration with South African Revenue Service

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

• Experience with estate planning: Knowledge in assisting clients with estate and inheritance tax issues.
• Familiarity with international tax issues: Understanding of international taxation for clients with global operations.
