Responsibilities

• Manage patient intake and discharge processes.
• Evaluate animal behavior and health issues.
• Perform surgical and medical procedures competently.
• Engage in team discussions regarding treatment plans.
• Offer emotional support to pet owners and their pets.
• Participate in case discussions and team meetings.
• Keep abreast of developments in veterinary medicine.
• Support the clinic’s mission to provide exceptional animal care.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine
• Specialization in a particular field is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of veterinary experience preferred

Certifications

• AVMA Accredited License
• Pain Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Beginner
