Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Veterinarian to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will provide high-quality medical care to animals and ensure their health and well-being. This role requires a strong commitment to animal welfare and excellent communication skills with pet owners.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and diagnose pet illnesses.
• Administer vaccinations and medications as needed.
• Provide surgical assistance and perform minor surgeries.
• Educate pet owners on animal care and best practices.
• Monitor post-operative recovery and follow up on patient care.
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff.
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine
• Specialization in a particular field is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of veterinary experience preferred

• AVMA Accredited License
• Pain Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
