Job Description

We are seeking a talented Loan Officer to join our Cape Town team. As a Loan Officer, you will be responsible for assessing loan applications, understanding client needs, and providing tailored financial solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in finance and a passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Review credit reports and analyze income statements.
• Prepare loan proposals for clients and explain the process.
• Collaborate with the credit team to resolve any concerns.
• Develop strategies for improving client acquisition.
• Attend networking events to build professional relationships.
• Prepare monthly reports on loan activities and performance metrics.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field
• Postgraduate degree in finance or business administration is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in loan origination or financial advising

Technical Skills

• Credit Analysis
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

• Negotiation Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
