Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Furniture Designer to join our team in Cape Town. This role requires a strong understanding of materials, aesthetics, and functional design to create beautiful and innovative furniture pieces.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from concept through to production, ensuring alignment with brand identity.
• Work closely with clients to gather and understand their design preferences.
• Update and refine designs based on client feedback and market research.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support promotional activities.
• Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in furniture design.
• Participate in design review meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or equivalent experience

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in furniture design or related sectors

Technical Skills

• Photoshop and Illustrator
• Furniture Design Principles

Soft Skills

• Project Management
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
