Job Description

As a Registered Nurse at HealthFirst Medical Centre, you will provide exceptional nursing care to patients of all ages. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement care plans, educate patients, and maintain a safe and healthy environment in our facility.

Responsibilities

• Administer treatments and procedures with precision and according to protocols.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create effective patient care strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions and report to supervisors.
• Implement health promotion and disease prevention strategies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the nursing department.
• Conduct research and remain current on best practices in nursing.
• Supervise junior nursing staff and nursing students when applicable.
• Engage and communicate effectively with patients to provide support and guidance.
• Document nursing care efficiently and accurately in electronic health records.
• Advocate for patient needs and rights in all aspects of care.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Specialization in Emergency Care is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred

• Clinical Assessment

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certified

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in Critical Care Nursing: Experience managing critically ill patients in high-pressure environments.
