Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Typesetter who will be responsible for formatting and laying out text and images across various print and digital media formats. This role is crucial in ensuring consistency and accuracy in style and design.

Responsibilities

• Utilize design software to produce high-quality layouts for various media platforms.
• Assess and troubleshoot typesetting issues as they arise.
• Contribute creative input to layout designs and overall publication aesthetics.
• Create PDFs for proofing and submission to clients.
• Collaborate with other creatives to ensure a cohesive look across publications.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant diploma or degree in graphic design, publishing, or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years' experience in typesetting and editorial work

Technical Skills

• CSS/HTML
• E-book Formatting

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with translation and localization processes: Experience in adapting content for international audiences.
