Interior Designer

Job Description

As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative design solutions that meet client needs. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure design integrity and functionality throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client consultations to determine their design needs and preferences.
• Develop detailed design plans, including space planning, colour palettes, and furnishing selections.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure design integrity during implementation.
• Create 3D renderings and visual presentation boards to communicate design concepts.
• Select materials, finishes, and furnishings that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.
• Review and approve design samples, furniture layouts, and installations to uphold quality standards.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends to incorporate innovative design solutions into projects.
• Manage project timelines and budgets to deliver projects on schedule.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Prepare bids and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in interior design

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• SketchUp
• Adobe Creative Suite

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certified Interior Designer (CID)
• NCIDQ Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
