Job Description

As a Fabric and Apparel Patternmaker, you will create and develop patterns for a variety of garments while collaborating closely with designers and garment technologists. Your expertise in pattern drafting and fabric selection will be crucial to ensuring our products meet high standards of fit and style.

Responsibilities

• Draft and grade patterns using CAD software and traditional methods.
• Modify patterns after conducting fittings to ensure exceptional fit and quality.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure patterns are production-ready.
• Evaluate new fabric types and their impact on pattern design.
• Ensure pattern records are up to date and organized for easy access.
• Assist in developing production timelines related to pattern creation.
• Implement best practices in patternmaking processes.
• Stay informed on local and international fashion trends.
• Participate in quality control checks during and after the production process.
• Support the sustainability initiatives by optimizing fabric usage in patterns.
