Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Johannesburg office. In this role, you'll work on the design and execution of various civil infrastructure projects, focusing on innovative solutions that meet client specifications and industry standards. You will collaborate with architects, planners, and municipal authorities to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering principles and project management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the drafting of plans and designs, assessing feasibility and budget constraints.
• Coordinate with local authorities to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Review and approve construction plans and technical documentation.
• Implement innovative construction techniques to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents for project bids.
• Maintain accurate records of all project-related activities and modifications.
• Participate in site meetings to discuss progress and procurement needs.
• Analyze data to create risk assessments and mitigation strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil projects management
