We are seeking a knowledgeable Environmental Consultant to join our dynamic team in Stellenbosch. In this role, you will conduct environmental site assessments, prepare reports, and recommend improvements tailored to our clients' needs. Engage with stakeholders, communicate findings, and advocate for eco-friendly practices within the industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental impact assessments and sustainability initiatives.
• Provide expert advice on waste management and pollution control.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance.
• Prepare and submit necessary permitting documents.
• Develop training programs for staff on environmental practices.
• Conduct ecological risk assessments and mitigation planning.
• Explore funding opportunities for environmental initiatives.
• Assist with data collection and analysis for reporting.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of environmental policies and practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in environmental consulting or related field
