We are on the lookout for a skilled DevOps Engineer to bolster our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud services, automation tools, and CI/CD practices, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of software applications.

Responsibilities

• Architect and optimize infrastructure for scalability and reliability in the cloud.
• Support application build and deployment, while ensuring system robustness.
• Collaborate on software development with a focus on DevOps methodologies.
• Implement monitoring solutions to ensure high uptime and performance.
• Review code and configuration changes for security compliance.
• Promote and adopt best practices within the team to improve processes.
• Develop scripts to automate routine system tasks and analysis.
• Engage in troubleshooting and performance tuning for existing systems.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Engineering
• Certification in cloud technologies is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in DevOps

Technical Skills

• Terraform

Certifications

• Google Professional DevOps Engineer

Languages

• English: Fluent
