Job Description

A Riprap Man designs and installs erosion control systems, including the installation of riprap, gabions, and other erosion control structures. This role requires the ability to operate heavy machinery and work in a physically demanding environment. Candidates should demonstrate strong teamwork skills and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain riprap structures to prevent soil erosion.
• Transport materials to job sites while ensuring safety.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of erosion control measures and make improvements as needed.
• Communicate project goals and progress with management and crew.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
• Document daily work activities and materials used.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.
