• Assess and document patient needs on admission and throughout their stay.
• Provide direct patient care and ensure comfort.
• Manage IVs, catheters, and other medical devices.
• Guide and mentor nursing students and junior staff.
• Facilitate patient discharge and aftercare planning.
• Engage in community outreach and education sessions.
• Implement patient safety measures and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with social services for patient support.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
• Provide feedback for performance evaluation and enhancement.

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
• Advanced wound care certifications: Demonstrated expertise in wound care management through additional certifications.
