Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Cloud Engineer to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. Ideal candidates will possess a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, with practical experience in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. You’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud solutions to improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructures using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Develop automation scripts for cloud operations.
• Monitor performance and security of cloud environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions.
• Ensure compliance with technical and security standards.
• Optimize cloud resource usage for cost efficiency and performance.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Mindful of team efforts on continuous improvement in cloud processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues.
• Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related field
