As an Electrical Discharge Machine Set Up Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating electrical discharge machines to produce high-quality precision parts. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining efficient operations and ensuring product specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate electrical discharge machines to manufacture precision parts
• Conduct quality control inspections of products during manufacturing
• Execute machine setup according to engineering plans
• Train and mentor junior operators
• Review and maintain safety procedures and checklists
• Support team efforts to enhance productivity and reduce downtime
• Provide feedback to engineers on machine performance and part design

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in electrical discharge machining

Technical Skills

• Experience with precision measuring tools
