Job Description

We seek a dedicated Tax Consultant to join our Bloemfontein team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of South African tax regulations and will be responsible for providing expert tax advice, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with local laws.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information.
• Analyze complex tax issues and provide solutions.
• Draft and present tax-related documents to clients.
• Conduct periodic reviews of client portfolios to ensure compliance.
• Assist in the development of tax policies for clients.
• Evaluate tax implications of mergers and acquisitions.
• Liaise with financial planners to ensure holistic client strategies.
• Prepare documentation to support tax positions.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance knowledge.
• Foster a positive client experience through exceptional service.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Taxation is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of tax consulting experience preferred
