Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Bloemfontein. This role involves overseeing projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to regulations and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing construction projects and a passion for sustainable development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, planning, and execution of civil engineering projects.
• Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and national regulations.
• Review project proposals and assess feasibility.
• Provide technical advice and support to project teams.
• Monitor construction activities to maintain quality and ensure adherence to plans.
• Document project changes and update project plans accordingly.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate measures.
• Build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Facilitate project meetings and keep records of discussions and decisions.
• Assist in training junior engineers and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's in Structural Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in civil engineering projects

• Civil 3D

Certifications

• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)

Languages
