Join our team in Durban as a Pharmacist where you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. You will work closely with healthcare professionals and patients to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex medication regimens and provide tailored advice.
• Engage in health screenings and immunization programs.
• Utilize technology for medication tracking and patient management.
• Advocate for patient safety and effective medication use.
• Respond to patient inquiries and resolve issues regarding medications.
• Promote a culture of safety and regulatory compliance within the pharmacy.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
• Master's degree in Pharmacy is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in a clinical pharmacy setting

Technical Skills

• Clinical Pharmacology
• Medication Therapy Management

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Team Collaboration

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council
• Immunization Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
• Experience with compounding medications: Familiarity with preparing personalized medications.
