We are seeking a talented Architect to join our Johannesburg office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing innovative structures, working closely with clients, and leading projects from conception to completion. Strong creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills are a must.

Responsibilities

• Lead design development meetings and presentations with clients.
• Explore innovative solutions for architectural challenges facing projects.
• Review construction drawings and manage change orders effectively.
• Promote a collaborative design environment within the team.
• Research material and construction methods to enhance project outcomes.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to expand skillset.
• Maintain project records and documentation meticulously.
• Assist with the business development process by creating proposal documents.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
• Master's degree is an added advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in commercial and residential architecture

Technical Skills

• CAD Software Proficiency
• 3D Rendering

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Client Relations

Certifications

• National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) Certification
• Building Performance Institute (BPI) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Local Building Codes: In-depth understanding of local regulations, codes, and standards.
• Familiarity with Construction Techniques: Experience in construction methods relevant to architectural practice.
